The Biostat Core provides biostatistical collaboration and support to medical and public health research. It aims to ensure that experimental designs, data analyses, and interpretation and dissemination of research findings take advantage of the most efficient and innovative methods in biostatistics.

The Biostat Core was charted in 2012 thanks to the support by Karolinska Institutet and Stockholms Läns Landsting. Since its inception, it has collaborated with an increasing number of researchers in Stockholm and worldwide.
